Company Development

Founded in 1983 by Robert Womersley, Rob Laine Pumping Solutions has become one of Australia's leading pump system designers and manufacturers, whose reputation for quality products at competitive prices, and technical support, is second-to-none. Robert leads the sales and technical support team, thus imparting a wealth of knowledge and solutions to customers.

In 2005, Rob Laine Pumping Solutions was acquired by Kelair Pumps Australia Pty Ltd, a major national industrial pump company, and one of the Mace Group of Companies which also includes Brown Brothers Engineers Pty Ltd, a Lowara distributor and specialist for water supply and constant pressure packaged pumpsets. This has meant an injection of further resources.

The management team at Rob Laine is unchanged and focuses on the use of practical technologies that are safe, competitively priced and meet current standards and customer needs.

Products and Services

The quality system at Rob Laine Pumping Solutions is administered by the Production Manager, with the full support of all staff members.

Rob Laine specialises in the design, manufacture and servicing of packaged pump sets for the Fire, Mechanical Services and Hydraulic / Plumbing markets and builds fire pump sets to  AS2941, NFPA and Factory Mutual standards.

Rob Laine operates a commercial pump test rig facility with a flow capacity up to 300 l/s and is able to test to AS2417, BS5310 and ISO9906 and is approved for testing to the exacting requirements of international authorities including Lloyds Register, Det Norske Veritas and Germanischer Lloyds.
